What ReplayFoundry reads
- The connected channel identifier and display title.
- Playlists the connected account can manage.
- Available YouTube video categories.
- The availability of video identifiers previously recorded by ReplayFoundry after an upload, when you request a status check.
What ReplayFoundry can write
- Upload one finalized local video you selected.
- Send the title, description, tags, category, audience designation, visibility, and schedule you reviewed.
- Set a custom thumbnail when you choose one.
- Add the uploaded video to a playlist you select.
Why this scope is requested
The desktop app requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube. ReplayFoundry's optional playlist insertion requires permission not supplied by the narrower upload-only scope. The app requests one documented scope rather than combining overlapping scopes.
What ReplayFoundry does not do
- It does not read your watch history, comments, contacts, password, or advertising profile.
- It does not download YouTube videos.
- It does not upload recordings merely because you connected an account.
- It does not sell, advertise with, or train generalized models on YouTube user data.
- It does not publish without an explicit user action.
Credential storage
The refresh credential is stored for the current Windows user in Windows Credential Manager. Publish history and preferences are local app records. ReplayFoundry does not operate a cloud token vault.
Disconnect and delete
Use Disconnect in ReplayFoundry to request token revocation and remove the local credential. You can also revoke ReplayFoundry from your Google Account connections. Delete local publish history and related preferences from ReplayFoundry Settings. See all deletion steps.
